The Department of Commerce is functioning from the very beginning of the college.With the increased role of computer technology in various trade activities of the modern world, commerce education with a sound knowledge of necessary computer skills has become an employability skill in itself. Commerce education enables students with specialised skills beneficial in handling problems in different functional areas of commerce, industry and trade. Trained manpower is still in shortage and a large number of job opportunities are awaiting students.
