The Department of Computer Science offeres B.Sc Degree in Computer Science from M G University . The six-semester course is aimed at providing theoretical and practical knowledge of Computer Science. The curriculum includes the important topics in Computing and Information Technology to enable the students to imbibe the current trends in Computer Science. It also includes management papers like Accounts and Financial Management. In order to bridge the gap between knowledge and its true application, students are required to undertake seminars, mini-projects and main project that put them through an industry-like situation. Our mission is to develop the human and intellectual resources needed to meet the future technological challenges in the field of computing. This includes developing computer scientists for positions of leadership in industry, government, and academia. The dynamic team of Computer Science Department is working with a sense of responsibility and dedication to excel and achieve success in this era of Computer Science and take the department to new heights.

The objective of the department is to provide knowledge of modern computing systems as well as sound theoretical background to meet evolving needs of students so as to bridge the gap between the academia and corporate sector.
